About Us

Trail Explorer began in 2007, sharing mountain bike content and documenting local rides, trails, and adventures. What started as a passion project quickly built a following of like-minded riders who shared a love for exploring new places on two wheels.

In 2020, Trail Explorer evolved into professional coaching and guiding, expanding into mountain biking, bmx, and paddle sports. Our goal has always been simple, to help people gain confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe, supportive, and fun way.

In 2023, we opened Trail Explorer Cycle Works, a rider-owned bike shop and workshop in Barnoldswick. The shop offers bike servicing, suspension tuning, repairs, and high-quality parts and accessories and bikes, all backed by the same attention to detail and passion that started the Trail Explorer journey.

From creating mountain bike videos to running a full adventure business, Trail Explorer has grown, but the heart of what we do remains the same: sharing the love of riding and adventure.
